课程描述/Course Description：: This is an exciting time to explore storage. Big data analytics, mobile and social applications are creating alot of data. Data stored in your data center or the cloud, needs to be delivered, managed and retained. Optimizing data storage reveals insights to deliver competitive advantages. IBM Spectrum Storage, Virtualization, High Availability and the Cloud are areas to explore. This digital class, SS00DG is a special subset to SS01G the foundational course for the IBM Storage course portfolio. This course will explore storage solutions for the Cloud, details on the IBM Spectrum family, and tape and disk product families. There are no labs for this course.
授课对象/Target Audience：: Participants of this course will include personnel who have the desire to learn about storage and IBM related storage products.

课程目标/Skills Taught：: Upon completion of this course you should be able to: • Differentiate between the features of the Spectrum Storage Suite of software • Differentiate the types of the disk/all-flash storage solutions • Compare the types of the tape storage solutions • Clarify the various Cloud storage considerations
